POS app for salons & barbershops
Every cut is recorded under its stylist, and the commission adds itself up.
Follow one day at Salon Lumi. Bu Maya arrives for her 10 o'clock appointment, Rara does her hair, and that evening Tasya sees every stylist's commission without opening a notebook.

The salon problem
The chairs are full, but who served whom rarely gets written down.
At most salons, stylist commission, appointments, and member packages live in separate notebooks. At month end, working out commission takes a whole day, and each customer's remaining package visits are kept in someone's head.
01Two customers are booked with the same stylist at the same time.
The schedule refuses a clashing appointment on the same stylist or chair, unless you choose to keep it anyway.
Step 0102Commission is worked out by hand from a notebook every month end.
Every checkout line has "Served by", and the Staff report works out the commission.
Step 0203Nobody is sure how many package visits a customer has left.
Member packages track each customer's remaining visits, and the money is recognised as revenue when the service is given.
Step 0504Salon products disappear from stock with no record.
Products sold at checkout come straight off stock, so what's on the shelf matches the records.

FAQ
Common questions, honest answers.
We answer straight, including the things Tumra can't do yet.
A good fit if
- Customers are served by a particular stylist and you pay commission
- You sell member packages
Not a fit yet if
- Customers must be able to book themselves through a link
- You need a points programme or gift cards
01Do stylists need an account and a paid seat?
No. Stylists are service staff: you just pick them in the Schedule and at checkout, with no login and no user seat. Services Starter includes 5 service staff; Services Plus and Pro have no limit.
02Can customers book themselves through a link?
Not yet. Your team records appointments in the Schedule, per stylist and per chair, and when the customer arrives they go straight to checkout. Self-booking through a link is in the works.
03Are customers reminded before their appointment?
Not automatically yet. New appointments go on the Needs confirming list in the Schedule. Your team contacts the customer on the phone number saved with the appointment, then taps Confirm.
04How are commission rules set?
As percentages. Each service or product can have its own commission percentage; if it's blank, the staff member's own percentage applies. Commission is calculated on the price after discount and before tax, and member package visits count at their per-visit value.
Fixed-amount commission is in the works. Returns don't reduce commission yet, and commission paid to staff is recorded as an ordinary expense.
05Are there points, vouchers, or gift cards for customers?
Not yet. What you do have is customer groups with their own discount percentage, such as Member Gold, and prepaid member packages that track remaining visits. Points, vouchers, and gift cards aren't available yet.
06Do supplies like shampoo come off stock automatically with each service?
Yes, through a service recipe. Enter how much of each supply a service uses, for example 20 ml of shampoo for one Creambath. Each time that service is paid for at checkout, the supplies come off stock at their average cost and become that service's cost. Visits from member packages don't deduct supplies yet.
