The problem for studios with a showroom
One business sells services and goods, but keeps two sets of books.
The studio logs design hours in a spreadsheet, the showroom runs its own cash register, and furniture for project clients leaves the showroom without a record. Stock never matches, and project profit is never complete.
01Furniture leaves the showroom for a project client with no record.
The item is billed on the client's invoice, and showroom stock drops when the invoice is issued.
Step 0502Clients get two separate bills, one for services and one for goods.
One invoice holds the design instalment and the items from stock.
Step 0403Design hours run over plan and nobody notices.
Hours are logged per task and compared with the hours agreed on the project.
Step 0304Showroom sales and studio income are counted separately.
One set of books. With a separate revenue account for goods, Profit and Loss splits product sales from service income.

The furniture leaves showroom stock.
When the invoice is issued, the sofa and table leave showroom stock at their average cost, and Ibu Kartika's receivable is recorded. The goods post to a Product Sales account, so Profit and Loss keeps them apart from design income.

FAQ
Common questions, honest answers.
We answer plainly, including what Tumra can't do yet.
A good fit if
- You sell services and goods to the same clients
- You run a showroom with a checkout
Not a fit yet if
- Materials used on projects (paint, wallpaper) must be recorded as project costs, not sold to the client
- You need profit reports per project
01Can I record materials used on a project without selling them to the client?
Not as a project cost yet. Items leave stock through a POS sale or an invoice. A stock reduction with the reason Other can record what was used, but it isn't linked to the project, and there is no per-project profit report yet.
02Are services and goods separated in the reports?
Yes. The cost of goods is always recorded on its own, so product gross profit is visible. To split product sales from service income in Profit and Loss too, point products to their own revenue account, such as Product Sales, in the product's Accounts settings. By default, both go to the Operating Revenue account.
Shop Reports also show sales and gross profit per product.
03Can I quote furniture before the client agrees?
Yes, with Quotations in the Wholesale menu. Prices fill in from the customer group, the quotation is printed or saved as a PDF, then turned into an order when the client agrees. Quotations can't be emailed from Tumra or approved by the client online yet.
To bill the furniture together with a design instalment, as in the simulation, create an invoice directly and pick the items from stock.
04Can project clients see their invoices in the portal?
Yes. The client portal comes with Integrated Plus. Invited contacts see issued invoices marked Paid or Unpaid, can print them or save them as PDF, and can see the project and its tasks. Paying through the portal isn't available yet, so your team still records payments.
05Can the showroom also sell online?
Yes. Integrated Plus includes 1 WooCommerce store, and Tumra Store is available as an add-on for Rp 249,000 a month (included in Integrated Pro). Online orders land in Online orders and use the same stock as the showroom. Marketplaces such as Shopee or Tokopedia are not connected yet.
06Does the POS work when the internet is down?
Not yet. The POS runs in the browser and needs internet when you press Pay. If the connection drops mid-sale, pressing Pay again continues the same sale, so the items and the money are not recorded twice.
